Refund & Shipping Policy

The AI Meter is sold as a pre-order. Your payment is charged when you place your order, and your unit ships later, on the timeline below. This policy explains shipping, cancellations, and refunds. To make any request, email [email protected] with your order number.
Shipping timeframe
We expect to ship pre-orders in Q3 2026. This is our good-faith estimate based on current manufacturing plans. Shipping costs are calculated and billed at fulfillment.
If we cannot ship by the stated time, we will notify you by email of the revised date and give you the choice to keep waiting or to cancel for a full refund. If we do not hear back after a significant delay, we will refund you. This follows the U.S. FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule.
Canceling a pre-order before it ships
You may cancel an unshipped pre-order at any time for a full refund to your original payment method. Email us and we will confirm the cancellation.
Custom Edition. Custom Edition units are built and coded to your specification. You can cancel for a full refund any time before we begin custom design or firmware work on your unit. Once we have started that work, the portion covering work already performed may be non-refundable — but your right to a full refund if we miss the shipping timeframe (above) always applies.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
Inspect your unit on arrival. If it arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or a refund, including return shipping at our expense. Keep the original packaging where possible.
Returns of working units
Because each unit is configured for a customer, we handle returns of non-defective units case by case. Contact us within 14 days of delivery to discuss. Return shipping for non-defective returns is the buyer’s responsibility, and Custom Edition units may not be returnable once delivered as specified.
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days after we process them. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable law, including chargeback rights with your card issuer and protections under the FTC Mail Order Rule.
