Privacy Policy

This policy explains how HSNC Tech LLC (“we,” “us”), a Connecticut limited liability company, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit hsnctech.com or order the AI Meter. Questions: [email protected].

Information we collect

Information you give us at checkout. When you place an order, our payment processor collects your name, email address, shipping address, and order details on our behalf. We use this to fulfill and ship your order.

Payment information. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number — Stripe handles it under PCI-DSS. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep that correspondence to respond and for support.

Automatic data. Our host (Cloudflare) processes basic request logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to serve and secure the site. We do not currently run advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and request consent where required.

How we use your information

• Process, fulfill, and ship your order, including pre-orders.
• Send transactional messages — order confirmations, shipping updates, and delay notices.
• Respond to support requests.
• Comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

• Payment processing — Stripe, to charge your order and handle refunds.
• Shipping — carriers and fulfillment providers, to deliver your unit.
• Service providers — vendors who help us operate the site and email, bound to protect your data.
• Legal — when required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
• Business transfer — if we are acquired or merge, as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your Anthropic API key

The AI Meter stores the Anthropic API key you configure on the device itself. We never receive, transmit, or store your API key. You are responsible for keeping it secure.

Email choices

Transactional emails are part of your order and cannot be opted out of while an order is active. Any optional product-update emails include an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by emailing us.

Data retention

We keep order and contact information for as long as needed to provide the product and support, and afterward as required for tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping. We then delete or anonymize it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, and rely on Stripe’s PCI-compliant systems for payments. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will respond as required by applicable law.

California residents. We do not sell your personal information. You may request to know what we have collected, request deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Email us to make a request; we may need to verify your identity.

Children

Our products and site are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
